Alex was born in Pasadena in California and raised in Hancock Park, Los Angeles. Her father is the Dr. Charles B. Witt. He's an incredibly well-known Los Angeles thoracic surgeon. Colette Witt is her mother. Charles Witt as well as Walter Witt are her siblings. Witt may also be connected to George Washington who was the first president of the United States. Witt is George Washington's descendant. Witt is an active participant in the National Society of Washington Family Descendants.
